About Us

It all started with a simple idea—one that Assra suggested and had been on our minds for a while. We loved making cakes at home, and when she confidently said, “Why don’t we start a business?” it felt like the perfect push to finally give it a try.
At first, we laughed. Baking for family was one thing, but selling? That felt big. Still, we gave it a shot. And failed. Many, many times. Our cakes collapsed, burned, or just didn’t taste right. But every mistake taught us something, and every late-night retry brought us closer to getting it just right.
Even before we sold a single cake, people around us already loved them. Whenever we gifted one to a friend, a neighbor, or a guest, their reactions were always the same—“This is amazing!” They’d ask where we bought it, and when we said we made it ourselves, they’d tell us, “You should sell these.” That encouragement was the final push we needed.
So, we did. And to honor the one who first voiced the idea, we named it Assra Cake. It became more than just a business—it was a way to share something made with love, patience, and a whole lot of trial and error.
Today, every cake we bake carries that same passion, the same lessons from our early mistakes, and the same warmth that made people fall in love with them from the start. We hope you’ll love them too.
